Measure the area where you would like your gazebo. You may even want to drive stakes in the ground to better determine the size and location of your gazebo. Choose a gazebo size from our chart of standard sizes. If your chosen size is not in our sizing chart, we can custom order the specific size you would like. Take a few photos in case you decide to send them to us for computer modeling of your gazebo.
At your computerWe have an online gazebo pricing tool you can use to configure your gazebo. When you are using the pricing tool, you will need to select your options such as:
Choose a gazebo, roof, shingle and flooring style. You will also need to select your finish type.
The gazebo pricing tool will give you a price for the gazebo, your electrical options, and even a trucking quote. It's easy to modify your gazebo until it is exactly what you desire. You can feel comfortable using this no dicker, always accurate pricing tool. We do reserve the right to adjust prices due to lumber costs without notice.
If the gazebo you desire cannot be built using our system, please enter the gazebo as closely as possible then describe what you would like done differently in the notes section. You can also call our sales team during business hours at 800 344-5103x1 and they will do all of this for you.
When you are pleased with your gazebo and are ready to talk to one of our designers, click the "Submit information" button. Your data gets sent to us.
On our sideWe review your gazebo choices and call you to answer any questions you might have. We suggest making changes that would either make your gazebo more useful or more beautiful, but we also look for ways to reduce the lead time and your cost.
Along the way you can request a computer generated, life-like image of what your gazebo will look like. Based on this visual tool, you may request changes. We adjust your file and explain the change in price. We also create another visual for your approval. We do require a 50% deposit before working plans are created. When you get your plans, you confirm every detail and we begin production.
During production you may get a call or email from the production team asking about your ceiling fan height or what color light switches you want. When the gazebo kit is complete, we require final payment before shipping. If you are within 300 miles, we offer you our in-house, white glove delivery service. Other then that, we use Yellow Freight as our over the road trucking company.
InstallationBaldwin Gazebos are designed to be very easy to put together, but there are still difficult aspects such as using a level to determine the lengths of the posts, cutting the posts to length, drilling the concrete and anchoring the mounting brackets. If this sounds like more then you want to do, we can suggest experienced gazebo installers in your area.
We offer a white glove delivery service in selected states for $2.50/mile each way. This service is available in CT, NY, MA, VT, NH, ME, NJ, PA, and MD.
We use Mapquest to determine the milage from our zip code, 06457.
Yellow Freight handles our long distance shipping. The parts are crated up in our shipping room with all hardware and instructions.
The Yellow Freight drivers are only responsible for bringing the parcel to your home. They do not help you unload. If you can unload the Yellow Freight truck you can save a few hundred dollars. If not a forwarder must be hired to pick the freight up at the depot and bring it to your home.
Unloading the Yellow truck involves opening the crate and unloading the parts manually. The parts should be handled with care and this requires at least two healthy people. The driver allows at least half an hour which should be plenty of time. You must dispose of the crate.
We earn a discount off Yellow Freight's list prices and that savings pays for arranging the delivery, building the crate and packing the parts. The instructions are written clearly and include photos and illustrations. Extra hardware and tooling are included.

If you decide to install the gazebo yourself, be prepared for a day's work with a few helpers.
The kit comes with pre-assembled sections, all hardware and detailed instructions. There's nothing more satisfying than relaxing in a structure that you made with your own two hands.
